Whoever watches the TV series Scrubs will have already understood. AirBand is a musical group that mimics playing and/or singing. Not as easy as it sounds. True you don’t need musical instruments, but you do need imagination and the desire to have fun. Hangloose developed a community dedicated to this unusual passion by creating a website where registered users can publish their own videos online and comment on others.
For the launch a 30 second ad was produced and broadcast on the Italian pay TV youth channel GXT throughout the month of May 2008.

In a similar category to Youtube, Hangloose develops its own in-house propriety technology for the uploading and conversion of video. The system is capable of converting and rendering compatible for use online any video format that users may happen to upload on the website.
