Well we kept our promise, AMA Roma S.p.A. has a new web portal. As of today the company responsible for the waste management, recycling and general upkeep of the Italian capital can offer its citizens a complete range of services and information online to help contribute to the cleanliness of the city.
Studio Hangloose planned and developed a new design and CMS to handle over 1000 pages of content and interactive applications: from being able to locate services in a given neighbourhood, to online payment forms and customer feedback, as well as dozens of photo galleries to illustrate the company’s mission.
The website’s interface uses the most modern standards and latest technologies to render the user experience as simple and immediate as possible. Visitors to the site are guided through all the steps necessary to differentiate their waste as well as find valuable information on how to dispose of it.
The new portal also boasts a comprehensive news section with articles constantly updated on themes ranging from the environment, company news, notices to citizens and services being offered. Future plans include a section dedicated to showcasing initiatives for schools on the subject of the environment.
The new CMS, which was entirely custom-developed in house and with Open Source technologies, allows the staff of AMA Roma to independently manage the content of every section of the website with ease and efficiency.
