Often people are asked to help in such a such cause that they perhaps don’t feel strongly about, or perhaps think that the problems it presents or to big to overcome by their own small contribution. For several years we at Hangloose have been fighting side by side with Ecpat in the battle against child prostitution and sexual exploitation, feeling the weight of the horrific problems it involves.
So when the NGO World Friends gave us a call and told us about how they had successfully built a hospital dedicated to the care of new-born babies in Kenya, and that they needed a finishing touch to complete the project, we of coarse jumped at the chance. Here was something concrete (literally!) that we could almost touch.
And so we stepped into our altruistic shoes and with the collaboration of Melania Bruno and Silvana Merico of World Friends created the concept for project’s communication strategy: Nati nel Posto Giusto (Born in the Right Place).
Why Born in the Right Place? Because being born in the right place is a basic right of every human being: it’s in our DNA but unfortunately it doesn’t always play out that way. And when we say Right Place we don’t mean country or geographic location, but simply a place with basic sanitary conditions for a dignified human life.
