Words fly away, writings remain so the saying goes, but to us this seems a little antiquated! Therefore we decided to produce ABIFormazione’s (a division of the Italian Banker’s Association) latest project entirely through digital means, discarding the use of paper.
Having examined the group’s 10year history of training and educating personnel of the banking, credit and financial sectors, we took the plunge and proposed a digital version for the year book of their biannual courses, in effect making the traditional printed version obsolete.
This of course roused the client’s curiosity.
And so at this year’s ceremony for the Banking and Financial Diploma over 600 graduates received an interactive CD-Rom allowing them to find themselves and their colleagues… without wasting a single sheet of paper! Developed using XML and a sophisticated interface based on Papervision3D, a new open source technology for the creation of 3D applications.

quella è stata una delle parti più difficili… Abbiamo dovuto lavorare molto per ottimizzare l’uso della memoria e il peso sulla CPU, non è facile gestire più di 500 schede senza compromettere la fluidità dei movimenti!
