GXT, the cable TV channel dedicated to extreme entertainment for the 12-19 year old age group, gets itself involved in one of our passions and becomes a part of the street scene. Hangloose creates a series of sponsorship deals to help tie the GXT brand (part of SKY Italia) to contemporary urban street culture and in turn make it an integral part of the scene.
Write for Gold
For the Italian leg of Europe’s most important graffiti event, GXT saw its own crew of writers showcase themselves on a wall over 10m long. The subject of the murals was the iconic graphics GXT uses regularly for its communications and which were perfectly inline with the event itself.
C.I.S. Campionato Italiano Skateboard (Italian Skateboarding Championship)
During the Italian Skateboarding Championship we searched for the skaters most representative of the Rome skateboarding scene with the four riders chosen participated in the competition wearing the GXT colours. In addition GXT sponsored the prize for the category “Best Trick”.
SPOTmania
A sporting event during which GXT made its presence felt with viral marketing activities. The GXT writing crew covered the event area (Pontile di Ostia) with GXT graphics painted on specially positioned wooden boards, while the skateboarding team stunned the public with its demos and challenged Jart Skateboad (Europe’s biggest skateboard and accessory manufacturer).
